I now provide a new service in Lewes and surrounding areas, draught proofing windows and doors, and installing magnetic secondary glazing with acrylic, known as Perspex.
Draught proofing windows and doors :
I use quality strips which I nail along the frame of the door/window.
Magnetic secondary glazing :
Self adhesive white flexible magnetic strip is run around the perimeter of a sheet of acrylic and a matching frame of steel strip is fixed around the window for it to attach to. The acrylic sheet is held in place snugly, but is quick and easy to detach for cleaning or storage.
Note : The magnetic secondary glazing is only really effective if draught proofing is in place.
