Jo in Hove:
To do all sorts of jobs in the medical practice she’s in charge of, and was delighted with my work!

Jessica and Simon wanted me to get rid of a half brick wall (only 1m20 high) in their sitting room, then replaster and put back the skirting boards and skim a wall in the bathroom.

In their bathroom, I installed a thermostatic shower tap, and replaced two tiles (where the electric shower was) and put shelves in the boiler cupboard.
They also asked me to replace the kitchen doors and worktop, tile with glass tiles and replace the sockets.
I also laid some beautiful oak flooring in the lounge, kitchen and hallway.

At Nick and Stephanie’s, I’ve redone their ensuite bathroom : skimmed and painted the walls and ceiling, painted the grouting in white, hung shelves, mirror and rail, and laid lino. I’ve mended the lock of the main door.
In their new home, I filled the gaps in the wooden floor, then painted it in 2 bedrooms and the dining room.
I redecorated one bedroom, and they asked me to insulate the loft, and quote for an ensuite shower room. They bought a second hand pine table, so I sanded it, and revarnished it.

For John and Pat, I’ve reorganized their bedroom. Replaced old cupboards with fitted wardrobes, added a bookcase, assembled a new bed frame and in John’s office assembled a cupboard/bookcase.
Fixed a few bits in the kitchen, built shelves for shoes under the staircase.
Installed a rail in the staircase, mended 2 quality vacuum cleaners.
They asked me to come back to install a disabled shower unit in the dining room converted into a bedroom.

At Allison and Steve’s, I replaced the felt on their garden house’s roof.

At Joe and Anne’s, I’ve redecorated the kitchen, mended kitchen units, laid the lino after fixing the wooden floor, mended the fridge’s handles and hung blinds. The cooker needed mending, including replacing the bulbs in the oven, so I did that as well. They asked me to come back to paint the hall and staircase.

For Alan I emptied the house of its contents, helped Alan fill up the removal van, completely redecorated the whole house, created an ensuite bathroom, renovated the existing bathroom, stripped and repainted the windows, stripped and revarnished the floors, installed an alarm system, hung curtains, and many more jobs….

For Kiran, in the bathroom, I’ve mended the shower door, replaced some floor tiles, the silicone in the shower. In the other shower upstairs, I’ve glued in some pvc panels, replaced the curtain rail. In the dining room, filled up some holes with filler and paint, in the kitchen, re-siliconed the worktop, sanded and varnished a coffee table. They asked me to come back to replaster the ceiling and decorate the ceiling and walls in the hall and sitting room. They also asked to rethink and quote for the main bathroom.

Michael and Anne asked me to skim over the artex ceiling  and polystyrene. Stripped the wall paper in the hallway and sitting room, redecorate the walls and ceiling, lay some oak flooring in the sitting room, find the same skirting board and fix it. Replaced the door, and install a new fireplace. Repaint the main door. They asked me to come back to assemble several flatpack furniture, which I had to cut and adapt to the room.

Pat and Tony’s kitchen needed decorating, and the tongue and groove wood ceiling needed to be scraped and sanded, then painted with eggshell solvent based paint. I painted the walls, doors and windows, revarnished the kitchen doors.
